A Bit About Me: Kelly Stradling

Kelly Stradling | Realtor© at Smith Spencer Real Estate | Interior Designer | MBA | Founder: Cote Luxe Property in Charleston, SC

If you are new around here, allow me to introduce myself. I’m Kelly Stradling, founder of Cote Luxe Properties & Investments here in the Holy City of Charleston, South Carolina. I grew up in the Midwest, and first came to Charleston, when I attended the College of Charleston, and that’s when I fell in love with this city that I now call home. Truly, the beauty of the area and the diverse culture made it easy for me to develop a big crush on the Holy City, and with family on Seabrook Island, I have gotten to know the area intimately. Then in 2019, I decided to invest in a beach property of my own on the island — and soon after, I decided to call Charleston home!

Through my entrepreneurial pursuits, I have over two decades in sales and marketing, construction/renovation, and real estate investment. I’ve also owned diverse businesses, including a yoga studio, retail boutique, and construction/renovation company, which I’ve loved every second of creating and managing. In fact, my passion for real estate and business comes quite naturally, as I grew up in a family business of land development, real estate, and interior design. This upbringing, coupled with the specific experience I’ve been afforded has given me the ability to know the ins and outs of real estate first-hand, whether purchasing a forever home, beach getaway, or investment property. That being said, I am committed to aligning my client’s goals and visions with real estate opportunities, and work tirelessly to do so. I also pride myself on being able to navigate the complexities of a real estate transaction seamlessly and efficiently, and will always use my skill set to offer the most comprehensive insights into the entire investment whether it be a home purchase of design project.

I am also very knowledgeable of the greater Charleston area, including Johns Island, James Island, Downtown Peninsula, Mt. Pleasant, Isle of Palms, and Sullivan’s Island. And in my free time, I enjoy kayaking the gorgeous waters around Charleston, hiking on expeditions to some of the world’s top spots, enjoying live music, and traveling both near and far.
