Things to Do in Charleston: January 2025
Happy 2025! We couldn’t be more excited to usher in the New Year in our favorite city. As one of the quietest months typically, there are fewer visitors as we come out of the packed holiday season. And for good reason, Charleston really knows how to get festive at the holidays so we could all use a bit of a respite.
That being said, you can there are a few events you won’t want to miss including a couple of great foodie events: Taste of Folly and Winter Restaurant Week. Taste of Folly happening at Folly Beach kicks off with a Cocktail Competition on Friday night and then rolls into a full day event on Savory Saturday. You can enjoy an Oyster Shucking Contest, Hot Dog Eating Contest, Multiple bands on 3 different stages, along with a One Pot Show Down. And the best part… there are prizes for the winners!
