Summer Bucket List: Charleston, SC

We couldn’t be more excited to spend the summer in our favorite city of Charleston, SC. This historic city is always buzzing with excitement and a calendar full of festivals, events, and we’ve got a few things we’re looking to try out this tourist season in the low country.

Here is our Summer Bucket List, including a rundown of the top 𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 we can’t wait to check out in our 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺.

Check out a Farmer’s Market

We love the abundance of local and fresh produce, along with fresh off the boat fish, so naturally exploring some of Charleston’s Farmers Markets is high on our list. We are regulars at the Mt Pleasant Market, but this year we want to try out the Sunday Brunch Market. Check out the logistics below:

James Island

Sunday Brunch Farmers Market

Charleston Pour House | 1977 Maybank Hwy
Every Sunday, year-round

Cruise the Charleston Harbour with Zen Sailing

One of the best ways to see Charleston is by the water, and this year we are looking forward to little sunset sail with Zen Sailing.

Join a CSA | Here are 2 we can’t wait to try out

Community Supported Grocery: A grassroots local food delivery “on a mission to make our local food economy more equitable, convenient, and scalable. Since 2018, CSG has combined the local farmers' market with the convenience of subscription-based online ordering & home delivery. They haul, sort, curate, and deliver weekly bundles of local groceries with menus, recipes, producer info, & dietary restriction compliance.” They have a whole host of products including pastas, breads, coffee, and self-care products in addition to the usual veggies and stuff. And the beauty is you can get a variety of sizes for your weekly bundle and customize by adding on other goods.

Abundant Seafood CSF: Like a CSA but for fish. You get a credit of $150 or $300 to spend at Shem Creek or Park Circle for fresh from the day boat seafood at 20% off.

Dine at Merci, Marbled & Fin, and Lowland Tavern

There’s so many great dining options in our gastronomy focused city, and we can’t wait to try out some of these newcomers.

Shop at Nette & Ship of Fools

We’re a sucker for a good curated women’s boutique, and that’s why we are looking forward to shopping at these new spots.

Wine-Down at Deep Water Vineyard on Wadmawlaw

Weekly wine-tasting, live music and food trucks every friday!

Hear some live tunes: There’s so many but these are tops for us.
