As a former store owner ourselves, we are all about supporting local brands, and it just so happens that Charleston is a city that has so many movers and makers. These local brands truly embody the spirit and heart of the Lowcountry, and showcase of love of craftsmanship, coastal, and CHS. Located in the heart of King Street, Candlefish offers hand-poured, artisanal candles that bring the spirit of the city into your home. Our favorite scent is #42!
2. Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit
This beloved local eatery is famous for its mouth-watering biscuits, and has grown into a national name. We love their biscuit takeaway on Upper King Street and in the City market, and we’ve been known to stock our freezer with take home frozen biscuits. Cinnamon sugar are our favorite!
3. Old Whaling Co.
Old Whaling Co. specializes in handcrafted bath and body products, including soaps, scrubs, bath bombs, and lotions. Their products are inspired by the sea and made with simple, eco friendly ingredients, which is perfect for this eco-obsessed gal. Take it from us the Oatmeal Milk Bar Soap is gentle enough for a face bar and we can’t live without the body butters. high-quality ingredients, perfect for nourishing your skin.
4. 42 Pressed
42 Pressed creates beautifully designed stationery and paper goods that blend modern aesthetics with traditional printing techniques. We have a thing for their map prints and we like to stock up on them to give in our Welcome Home gift baskets. Of course Charleston and the Sea Islands are our favorites.

Linne Botanicals offers a line of natural and plant-based skincare products. Their formulations are crafted with the finest ingredients to support healthy, radiant skin, and word to the wise we can’t live without the Renew serum in our makeup bag.

Of course we adore Jane Pope Jewelry, and it might be because over the years she has created a couple of our most sentimental jewelry pieces. We also have a thing for her minimalist and delicate style that is simply timeless and distinct.
